The Rudolfinum is filled with bustle, excited chatter echoes from every corner, the Dvořák Hall is almost trembling with anticipation. Can you feel the festive atmosphere too? It's the Czech Philharmonic starting a new season.
During the summer months, the music normally heard from various corners of the Rudolfinum was replaced by hammer blows caused by the ongoing reconstruction of the facilities. Now the sounds of cello bowing and trumpet practice return. The whole building is coming to life, preparations are at their peak, the 128th season is literally around the corner.
Together we will start it with three Opening Concerts. The orchestra, led by chief conductor Semyon Bychkov, will be joined by the outstanding German-American virtuoso Augustin Hadelich. You can watch the first Opening Concert live on CT art and the third Opening Concert on Mezzo and medici.tv live.
