Toomas Oscar Kahur

Toomas Oskar Kahur is an Estonian tuba player currently residing in Germany. He studied at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, and is currently attending the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media in Germany, where he is studying with professor Jens Bjørn-Larsen. Toomas Oskar is involved with various orchestras, has given numerous solo concerts, and has performed as a soloist with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra in Estonia. In 2023, he released an album titled “Estonian Music for Brass” with the brass quintet Tuulisbrass. Since 2024, he has been a member of the German national youth orchestra Junge Deutsche Philharmonie.
