Barbara Pazourová

She initially began to play the piano and first attended harp lessons aged 13. In 1978–1984, she studied with Libuše Váchová at the Prague Conservatory. She then continued at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with Karel Patras. She graduated in 1988 but her life had been linked with the Czech Philharmonic since her student years. Besides playing in the orchestra, she is also a chamber musician.
