She already excelled in a number of competitions when she studied at the Kroměříž Conservatory, among others the 3rd place in the 1992 Concertino Praga and victory at the London Chamber Music Competition in the following year. In 1995, she became the principal flutist of the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with a Master’s degree in 2000 in Professor Jiří Válek’s class.

During her studies, she played in various ensembles (Virtuosi di Praga, Musica Bohemica, Czech Nonet) and performed both in the Czech Republic and abroad. She was a member of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra from 2002 to 2006 when she joined the Czech Philharmonic as the principal flutist.

She is popular both with the top Czech orchestras and chamber ensembles. She regularly records music for the Czech Radio or for films and has participated on many CDs. She has performed in Europe, the USA and Asia.
