We cordially invite you to take part in the next edition of the Music to Yourself project for classes that want to get even closer to music. The guide is Ondřej Tichý together with other musicians.
This is a year-long journey where children and teachers have the opportunity to participate in music that is created in direct contact with musicians. We will come to your classroom; children from different schools will meet together in the Rudolfinum and other places.
The workshops include detailed work with instruments and with your own voice. We will also discover how much support music provides for interpersonal contact, self-expression, concentration and mental well-being.
We will capitalize on all of our experience and preparation at a festive April gathering of all participating classes and musicians in the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum.
We have room for 8 classes in the 2025/2026 season. If you have the courage to come on the road with us, don't hesitate!
Final performance together on 21 April 2026 at 9.30 am in the Dvořák Hall, dates of the next four meetings by appointment.
This series is prepared for 8th and 9th grade elementary school students and high school students.
We offer subscriptions only.
The programme is based on a musical part but also on a spoken word that will be given in Czech language only. The programme will not be supplied with English subtitles.
