The Jungle Book and More or Make a Wish for a Conductor
The 2025/2026 season is the 20th in the history of Steps to the New World. And our dear conductor Marko Ivanovic is celebrating his life anniversary. Therefore, the programme consists of several pieces that are close to his heart and a few others that he composed himself.

The 2025/2026 season is the 20th anniversary season in the history of Steps to the New World. And our dear conductor Marko Ivanovic is celebrating his life anniversary. Therefore, the programme consists of several pieces that are close to his heart and a few others that he composed himself. In addition to movements of Dvořák's Seventh and Mozart's Jupiter Symphony, we will hear the conclusion of Britten's Young Man's Guide to the Orchestra. We will get a glimpse into Mark's work through the song cycle Little Words and a suite from the music to The Jungle Book.
The series is prepared for 8th and 9th grade students of primary schools and students of secondary schools.
Subscription price 600 CZK, individual ticket price 250 CZK.
The dates of the concerts can be freely combined.
Individual tickets for the concert on 22 October 2025 can also be ordered in limited quantities.
One teacher can order a maximum of 60 season tickets or individual tickets for a maximum of 60 pupils/students for a maximum of two concerts.
The programme is based on a musical part but also on a spoken word that will be given in Czech language only. The programme will not be supplied with English subtitles.
