Opuses in Pieces • Antonín Dvořák

Workshop for teachers

Antonín Dvořák was probably one of the most travelled people of his time. In his own words, he came to America to discover what young Americans had in them and to help them express it. In his imaginative and intelligible melodies, breathtaking harmonies, surviving correspondence and his own emotions, we can read how he experienced the American period. All of this is imprinted in a collaborative work of art in which dreams and reality, the beating of one's own heart and the echo of distant lands, the beauty of the moment and the belief in the infinite possibilities of progress, intersect.

The workshop is held in Czech.
