Come see and hear a remarkable number of percussion instruments! Pavel Polívka, a member of the Czech Philharmonic, will take us to the world of traditional and exotic percussion: coconuts, gourds, and even hooves. We’ll show you the influence rhythmic accompaniments have on the sound of classical composition like Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with the Ode to Joy or Mozart's Requiem. There will also be film music, where percussion instruments play an indispensable part.
