Coffee with Antonín D. • A musical gathering for secondary school students
Let's go back in time a century and a half. By looking at what life was like back then, how people dressed, their manners, and how they talked, we bring ourselves to the time when Antonín Dvořák was living. We will experience Dvořák's music together through movement activities and undisturbed listening.

One teacher can order tickets to each concert for a maximum of 32 pupils/students.
It is 4 January 1896. At 7:30 p.m. the first concert in the history of the Czech Philharmonic begins. The concert venue will come to be called the Dvořák Hall. Antonín Dvořák himself is on the programme and on the podium. He is undoubtedly the most famous Czech composer of all time. Then and now. But back then he was surrounded by his dearest friends and by those he met along the way, thanks to whom he could develop his talent into worldwide fame.
We will go back to the 19th century by looking at what life was like then, how people dressed, their manners, and how they talked. We will experience hearing music by Dvořák together with movement activities and undisturbed listening. To conclude, each of us will look for the people who give us inspiration and support for our lives.
