Dress Rehearsals

During the Czech Philharmonic’s 129th season, four regular morning dress rehearsals and one special one on New Year’s Eve will be open to the public. The dress rehearsal on 31 December 2024 will be followed by an afternoon concert and two concerts on New Year’s Day. Due to the season, the price will differ to the regular morning dress rehearsals.

All regular public dress rehearsals are on weekdays and are introduced by a brief talk by one of the orchestra players. The musical presentation that follows is entirely in the hands of the conductor, who may interrupt or comment on the playing of a work, or who may rehearse certain passages after they have been played through. We ask that audience members respect the conductor’s right to finish rehearsing the programme for the evening’s concert.
