For her solo recital, Julia Fischer chose the colourful music of Khachaturian, Poulenc and Ravel, as well as the first sonata for violin and piano by Ludwig van Beethoven. British-Japanese pianist Mitsuko Uchida will also focus on the latter. In her solo Rudolfinum performance, she will perform three piano sonatas by the Bonn native. Together with Víkingur Ólaffson, the audience will delve into Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations. The countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński is known not only for his great voice but also for his dance creations. Perhaps one of his famous encore pieces will be experienced by the Rudolfinum.
