Early Evening Concerts

The Early Evening Concerts Series spans Baroque to 20th-century works, opening with a theatre-music monodrama about Alma Rosé. Curator Mahan Esfahani presents younger talents in Manuel de Falla’s Harpsichord Concerto, while Czech ensembles like Trio Kalliopé and Stamic Quartet also feature.

Season curator Mahan Esfahani has invited leading musicians of the younger generation, culminating in a performance of Manuel de Falla’s vibrant Harpsichord Concerto. A pure Baroque evening will be led by Czech Philharmonic bassoonist Martin Petrák and his Haydn Ensemble. The series also features renowned Czech ensembles such as Trio Kalliopé and the Stamic Quartet, and will conclude with a recital by violinist Ivan Ženatý and pianist Martin Kasík.
